I mean Bale is the definition of a retirement player, mate.I haven't seen I'm just being dumb about people saying MLS is a retirement league or whatever

He is indeed, Insigne too and they'll both be well too good for the league. Some of the jokes are justified.I mean Bale is the definition of a retirement player, mate.
Toronto has 3 Italian internationals and they still get slapped around every game.He is indeed, Insigne too and they'll both be well too good for the league. Some of the jokes are justified.
Football is a weakest link sport so that happens, individually they're cleaning up.Toronto has 3 Italian internationals and they still get slapped around every game.
Yeah, they’re better objectively, but how are they together? I also don’t really get Phillips to be honest, especially in games England should be on the front foot. He’s unnecessary. Its basically a wash for me in midfield. It’s Englands forward line that’s going to give us major issues assuming Southgate doesn’t overthink it. Fortunately they also have Harry Maguire so we’re in with a chance.
Phillips is a better player than Rice IMO.Rice, Bellingham and Mount could give us issues but Mount has spent the last couple of seasons as a forward and his couple of games at midfield for Chelsea haven't exactly been a seamless transition. Phillips is straight up bad, I don't care who he plays for.
The Guardian’s football coverage is generally pretty good more for articles than video clips thoughInstead of making a new thread I'll just throw it here because I know myself and I'm not messing with a VPN for a highlight show even though I really should get one for my streaming services.
I've seen espnfc referenced plenty here over the years, and men in blazers as well. What others do the Americans turn to for football coverage? Haven't seen it mentioned in awhile although I haven't been around as much so my apologies if it recently came up and I haven't came across it.

The Guardian's podcast is pretty good IMHO. The Totally Football Show podcast is good too.I actually happen to end up on there often when I google stuff but I never go directly there.
Good call I will have to add that in my rotation. Despite how dumb my posts are I actually enjoy reading an article over a video most of the time. Some things articles just can't quite explain as well but for the most part, video coverage is just so dumbed down imo.
Thanks for the recommendation
We look like amateurs. Turner playing decently well at least. Good to see given his limited game time.Pretty ugly stuff here
