Lovely four subs at halftime so we'll learn nothing

Interesting—I hadn’t seen that yet. They’re going to be a tough side to deal with. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them advance. They may benefit from a home continent (of sorts) advantage as wellThe Guardian's podcast is pretty good IMHO. The Totally Football Show podcast is good too.
@wm02 I just saw that Quieroz is back at Iran. Going to be a very interesting group I think. Lots of tight games.
I wouldn't say your team is better than theirs TBH. Ramsey, Bale, Johnson, Davies, Williams, Ampadu, Roberts, Wilson have all performed solidly in top flight football. Joe Rodon too.Wales have Ramsey and Bale who are both past their peak and then what? Brennan Johnson is fine, I guess Ben Davies still works, and then you've got Joe Allen and Neco Williams?
Nah we have the better team. We're shaky at CB but stronger in all the other areas.
Yeah I really think they'll be a bit of a wild card in the group and could go either way. He doesn't really have much time to prepare them. But if he gets them playing like the previous 2 WCs then they have a chance. I could see England struggling to beat them, we're usually awful against teams who set up like that.Interesting—I hadn’t seen that yet. They’re going to be a tough side to deal with. I disagree. Rodon shipped off, Ampadu shipped off, Wilson hasn't gotten another chance since being ok for a reason, Johnson is like 5 games in even if I like him, Williams is horrendous honestly. I just don't see that much quality.I wouldn't say your team is better than theirs TBH. I should caveat all this with saying I'm far from the biggest expert on USMNT and might be making a fool of myself with all this. But I think it's very tight between both teams. To me the biggest US talents still seem very young with only McKennie and Adams as more senior pros who are also good.
Yup. Shades of Tunisia, Algeria?Yeah I really think they'll be a bit of a wild card in the group and could go either way. He doesn't really have much time to prepare them. Exactly, Scotland last year too.Yup. Shades of Tunisia, Algeria?
McKennie did nothing. Looked disinterested today. Not worried about him though.Musah is so important. McKennie and Adams are good at what they're good at but the ball doesn't get up the pitch enough and De La Torre isn't it
Adams wasn't up for it eitherMcKennie did nothing. Looked disinterested today. Not worried about him though.
