Some changes appear to be afoot - thoughts ? If in some way supporters could be consulted, what would you like to amended, binned or newly proposed to the workings of the great God VAR.
If I can put my ha'ppeny into the ring, not offside when any part of the body is behind the mythical line.

I would simply want to hear the discussion between ref and those manning the VAR remotely. THEN all parties could then understand hwo decisions are arrived at (or not, as the case may be). On the back of that, further fine-tuning could be done to get it working in a far more equitable way than happens at present.

i know there was the fiasco in the dortmund V sevilla game the other night, but in general VAR seems so much less intrusive in European football - I think their Model would make a lot of sense for me.

If I was in charge, I would be keen to simplify to the following.....

1) Offside - One line drawn from the defender's extremity only, if unclear after that line, benefit given to the attacker.
2) VAR's only other responsibility should be to refer ref to screen; without context debate or advice & onfield ref makes decision. This would remove blurred ownership & put responsibility back on the onfield ref & I think it would ultimately make VAR less intrusive. Ideally I also argue ref should only get to see the replays in real time from whatever angles are available.

If it was up to me I would bin it off. Unfortunately it isn't up to me and they won't. :(
Football managed very well without it for 130 years.
Football was so much better when it was a sport, not 'big business'. It was always meant to be played on a pitch, not a screen.
Before the 'Luddite' shouts start - The true beauty of football is that it's basically the same game whether it's played by top professionals in front of 100,000 spectators, or 22 kids in your local park. There may obviously be a huge difference in talent, but the rules of the game should be the same in both situations.
The game has gone and unfortunately will never return.

The biggest flaw is the refs that administer it. My suggestion would be to get new ones. Problem solved.

Glad it's being looked into. Drained the fun out of football for me this year. At least the handball look like they have been sorted.

I'd love them to go after diving and play acting. Alas probably a pipe dream.

The situation where being a fan at the match, sat on the terraces and you can't celebrate a goal until they
have done a VAR check has killed the game stone dead as a spectator sport. They reckon that the
Aguerooooooo goal would have been ruled out by VAR as the ref gave a throw in the wrong way
to City right at the begining of the build up of the move. Football is about passion, emotion and
excitement. VAR has taken that away in my humble opinion.
