VAR

A good solution is, watch football that doesn't have VAR, simple lol
That would be perfect. However, as soon as a contentious decision is made, everyone will be screaming why VAR isn't in place. I don't think they can win now.

However, good to see the red s get done by a decision. Usually the other way round. Got one of their supporters at work ranting and raving how the world and his wife are against them. every single week apparently. HAHA hard to hide my amusement.

All I know is that VAR is another tool to be used for corruption. Some teams seem to get the greater rub of the green far more often than is statistically possible. Teams at the bottom are regularly shafted. We're regularly shafted. Wolves are regularly shafted. And while we can laugh about it LFC are regularly shafted. For the integrity of the game to persist there really needs to be an independent review of the entire process. What if we get shafted and it turns out to be the difference between relegation and staying in the PL? We should be siding with LFC on this one IMO. If these mupp3ts at the PGMOL are permitted to go on as they have been over the last few years then the game is truly finished.
Yeah if this had happened to anyone else we'd be as outraged as anyone, and we have to remember this can happen to us any time.

They need specialists in VAR (younger people who are more adept at using technology, not former refs who's skill set is completely different)

The technology itself is poor, the cameras aren't always in the right positions to tell so that isn't helping them - it's rarely a straight line. For example I don't see how they could make a definitive decision on our goal on Saturday, the angle wasn't right. That's why they spent so long checking Tarkowski's jump for a foul, they didn't fancy making the offside call

It needs to go until they sort these things out though. If it requires a game to be replayed then that's fine

A lot shrugged at the goal Donny Rovers scored past us which was a yard offside.

I don't believe there was no kick off or upset last week in any of the games in the league cup that didn't have VAR.

Weird that innit.

Horribles, always the victims, they are like Millwall, nobody likes them, but they do care, whereas Millwall don't ;)

lol lol lol lol lol lol

Yeah just like the rs stood side by side with us after getting robbed of a blatant penalty against City. I recall them all demanding Everton should have a rematch.

Absolute laughable post.

It needs to be scrapped because not like other sports where the decisions are black and white.
Too mant grey areas for interpretation, we can watch a decision 100 times over and me and you could see it differently.

I dont think Jota's second yellow was a yellow card, you might see it different. This is where the inconsistencies come in.

I agree that it needs to be scrapped. VAR has taken the spontaneity out of the game.
Jota was rightly sent off. Even if his first one was weak, he was stupid enough to try a rough tackle right after being carded.
