The "foul" was very subjective, a ref and a linesman standing on top of it never saw anything wrong, same as most of us.
VAR was then scrutinsed, probably many times in slow motion obviously to eek out the most insignificant excuse they could find to rule it out.
That's probably the most blatant bit of cheating yet and sends the unjust 10 point deduction to 13, at best 11. I never believed the shouts of corruption but it's blatantly happening just too many times to be anything but.

It seemed like VAR looked for anything to disallow that goal. This is why we say the league is corrupted. That was a soft decision

Ref had no bottle too, he should have stuck to his guns, surely he knew how tenuous it was to over turn that goal because of something so minor, something that may not have been a foul but needed multi slow mo replays to call out. Could have done the right thing there and been applauded by many others than us. Bottler.

That's the irony we have. One of the most clear and obvious errors by an official in the history of the premier league, and we can't overturn it. He's made a mistake and they can't help him. It's ridiculous.

Baffling that the PL clubs haven't pushed for major reform of the PGMOL.

I thought it would bring some more balance to games and help the refs do what can be a difficult job, especially as they often have to judge things from an awkward angle with a split second view.

But honestly it seems to make almost as many mistakes and subjective decisions as we had before and totally kills the atmosphere of scoring a goal.
