I would have thought the lack of any substantiated bid makes it a fact.

We might have watched him a few times, we might have talked with his agent or even had basic discussions with his club, but it's clear no bid has been made - otherwise you'd be looking at a situation like Newcastle/QPR with Remy now.

It's funny really, our scouts and Moyes probably watch dozens of players every year, but as soon as the media picks up on one of these visits it means we're trying to sign him.

To put this into perspective, Per Kroldrup was a lot more well known when we bought him and was a superstar in Norway (or Denmark, same thing FFS) and had a growing reputation in Italy. We all know how that worked out.

I really, really, really don't care about this at all. He's a completely unproven centre-half. Even if we'd actually bid for him (which we obviously haven't) I actually wouldn't care if we'd been beaten to his signature.

People need to get a grip.

Have you not seen some of the players the papers have linked us to in the past few years ? They're _clueless_.

how many times though mate have we listened to people who havent a clue but claim to have knowledge regarding the goings on in the club, you may be right Moyes may not want the lad anymore but we have to acknowledge though that theirs a 50:50 chance that moyes is skint and couldnt pay for the lad regardless of whether or not he wants him.
