How many " targets " would David Moyes watch in a season ?
How many of those watched would end up with a bid being made(successful or not) ? I would say less than1%.
All we know is that there was an interest in Forren ,a serious interest,because of the group that went to scout him.The fact that such a high powered group went also says there must have been reservations about him...as if the manager just couldn't quite make up his mind about him.

I have never seen Forren play,I don't have an opinon as to whither we should sign him or not.The biggest thing that Forren has in his favour is his youth.If however he does lack a yard of pace he will not make it big in the premiership as the days of lumbering centrehalves is long gone.I really don't see finance as being a major problem for several reasons.
1.There will be additional money from the television deal next season.
2.It looks as if Heitinga will leave,now or certainly in the summer and that also will generate cash.
3.I think that Fellaini will be leaving Everton in the summer and will generate serious money.

Its a problem when he could be going "now" to another club, when you have non of the projectedfinances above infront of you. Finance is everything. Just like every transfer window at this club.

Stend,if you want to believe that we are not signing Forren because we can't afford him...then so be it.
I don't know what budget we hav available,but even if we had none at present,there will be different sources of potential future income which would make a deal of this size affordable....if we wanted the player.
Regardless of who signs the player it is a significant risk and at Everton David Moyes is notoriously careful about spending scarce resources.Unless he is convinced of the players future he won't bite.

What Liverpool do is their own business,but I think that it should be said their record in the transfer market in the last five or six years is appalling.Yes,they have fallen away to become a mid table team,but not so much because of a lack of spending but because of a series of really expensive bad buys.
If Moyes doesn't want him,let Liverpool have him.

Meh, not that bothered really, never seen him play and I can think of better positions to strengthen - keeper or a Landon.
