Why didn't our board put up the money for him, he's clearly a quality player if a few Premier League teams have had a look at him, sick of our board not stumping up the cash to make deals like this happen.

Because after watching him the word from the club on him was " Hes slower than death "

Read between the lines here, we are signing him.

Note he says audition instead of trial, its because hes been talking to Bill and his luvvy mates.

Dead cert.
You certainly know how to twist things to your own satisfaction. I admire that.
because he's a clown. it may be the real reason of course, but i think mcnulty is just taking a shot in the dark
He is a bit of a clown. I think he is just confirming what a few Norwegian journos have been saying though, in the clowns defence.

Who at the club said that though mate? I think it's still on if I'm honest and we're just playing hard ball on the fee

Its not mate he wont be coming here. Moyes watched him twice and thought he was a good player but he was way too slow and over priced. He wont be an everton player, we have 2 targets at the back and he isnt one.

I've seen him play mate and he's pretty rapid, especially when you hold the R2 button. Who are the other 2 targets and how do you know this?

  • More from Ben Smith: "However, Southampton have now had a £3.5m offer accepted for Vegard Forren, who has since travelled to the south coast with a view to completing his move. Everton had previously been interested in the defender only for their interest to cool markedly in recent weeks."

Haha Tony Hibbert can also finish on fifa for me but we know what hes like in real life lol. One of the targets is lescott but IF that happens it will be late very late in the window poss even final day. Lescott all depends on 2 different things, if city bring someone else in then hes even further down the pecking order and second how the other everton target pans out. As always we can only move in the market once someone is sold.

Lets just hope Heitinga takes the plung and leaves so we can get on with bringing new players in, The longer hes here the longer harder and more work has to be put into brining new faces in.

All of that sounds both logical & believable to me.
