It's worth remembering that Moyes dropped a CB to play hibbert. It wasn't down to us having no other options. Hibbert's fine there anyway.
Then if/when city sign a new cb we go for out main defensive target on loan. That's why I was saying it will be late poss even deadline day for any kind of deal for him.

Lescott + Capoue would be at least £90k a week you'd think. Getting rid of Heitinga would mean we'd still be paying £30k a week more, which we can't afford.
If we get Lescott then i'm more than happy to sell Heitinga mate. Just don't buy this Capoue talk at all, we can't afford him or the wages. Agree with Duffy, the fact that he chose Hibbert over him says a lot imo, although things could have changed since then.

If the board are expecting a firesale in the summer, they might be happy for a temporary rise in the wages for six months with the understanding that when Felli, Moyes etc leave it'll drop quickly.

Yeah I agree with that but where looking to loan a few out also so Ben though it won't cover 30k it will be close. Gueye isn't really an option anymore is he ? He just doesn't cut it and moyes sees that so sell/loan him out, Barkley is already out and I expect him to stay there till end of season. Then we have the option to loan vellios out then that covers it all pritty much doesn't it.
Vellios going out on loan depends on bringing a cm though.
