Would be staggered if you see this as a bad thing ChrisThe wife is. Although she's a good one ... Happy to cook meat and not preach about her hypersensitive beliefs.
The major drawback is that as a couple you find are invited to fewer things by fewer people who can't be arsed cooking two dishes where, if everyone weren't so fussy, there'd be one.
Then again we now live in world where 8f you ask a crowd of 6 people if they want a cupoa you expect yo follow 6 different recipes for tea with different amounts of sugar sweetener, milk, no milk, soya, oat milk. Ffs ... I've stopped asking.
Being a vegetarian is very easy these days, like you don't have to worry about finding stuff to eat if you eat out with meat eaters and the choice in supermarkets is fantastic.Anybody on GOT Vegetarians ?

Go gave a look in places like Heron goods for cheap.things to try, also becuase of the Veganuary things a lot of stuff have extra things in this month
You might have to watch a few health issues such as going anemic if your not getting enough Iron, but you should be fine

Well I like Broccoli so thats good, love those stems !!Look for stuff like Broccoli, see it's all about how well your body can absorb what you need from the food.
Chances are you will be fine though.
Different foods help on certain things, like B12 is a hard one to get, that's in marmite I think
