I'm giving him another chance after last season. I still think he's crap and won't make it but he averaged a goal every 70 minutes or something so, technically, last year he did as well as he could in the time he had I think. Scored some vital goals for us.

Do you know just how small Wigan is and what it has to compete with? All the part-timers left years ago, any crowds they get now are regulars. Wigan Warriiors/Wigan Athletic fans hate each other, so you dont get fans going both, like you might get Evertonians who are ST helens fans.

The fact wigan still get 15-20k is amazing for the size of the town and the amount of big clubs surrounding them.
