Any chance of paying on the gate on Monday? Home stands obviously. Might be in the area with work, and just wondered.

Pay on the day I would imagine won't be announced until over the weekend.

I doubt we'll sell out although I haven't seen the prices to tell you the truth.

Hahaa, story of his life.

I like the kid, but he is injured plagued. Do you lot rate him?

Impossible to say really, we've seen so little of him.

He was exceptional against Man United and that is what we want from him. A battering ram who provides a platform for our more creative players. Unfortunately, he has then been ravaged by injuries and hasn't featured much. He had an impressive ten minute cameo against Man City where he got a goal but also had a cameo against Newcastle where he flattered to deceive by giving away ridiculous free kicks.

His debut against Fulham was solid - nothing special, but then his next start against Stoke was just a joke where he spent more time on the floor and was made to look incredibly average by the Stoke centre halves.

I would hope we only paid £3million or less up-front - anything more and we've been ripped off.

Could have posted that myself!! On his day, he can be great, but there just are not enough of "his days".

We arnt that chuffed with what we have seen of Kone tbh. Same price, (ish), thoughts Liam?

The greatest player I've seen wear our shirt

Wow some praise, the Albion had some great players in the late 70s, Laurie Cunningham, Cyril Regis was very similar to Lukaku
Part of, are you aloud to call them the 3 degrees nowadays?? if not i will delete! That side nearly won the old Div 1, with some great football.

Hi, folks.

I'm back again for the second edition. If you could fill out the questionnaire beneath it would be appreciated. The finished article link shall be provided later on in the week.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far? Exceeding all expectations. I still think we'll falter out of the Champions League places, but I am quite the pessimistic [Poor language removed] anyway.

2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far? Wee bit disappointing. To be honest, I thought Anichebe could have done a job for your lot and that the big thing was replacing Lukaku, which doesn't really seem to have been done. There are quality players in that squad though; if Mel can get them performing, who knows what can happen?

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far? Love him. Hated the idea of him being our manager, I was firmly in the camp of getting someone else in but now he's come I'm in love.

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement? Personally, I like Clarke, (and I wanted him to replace Moyes!). I think it was a little harsh, he needed more time. Never heard of this Mel fella. Don't expect much if I'm honest.

5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you? Hit and miss. Not nearly the finished article I thought he was, but he's still the best we've had since the boss version of Jelavic.

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening? Cover for Lukaku, and cover in the midfield. That's about it, I reckon.

7) What side is RM likely to choose? The only side he can. We've got a fair few injuries.

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated? Palace, Fulham, ?

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses? Boss wingplay and just general awesome sexy futbol skills. Our CB's though have been known for the occasional lapse in concentration, but very little. We don't really have that many weaknesses imo. Maybe passing it a little too much?

10) Score predictions 0-2

Hope those that are travelling have a safe journey to the West Midlands and I look forward to hearing the amazing "Allez Allez Oh" chant. :D

Enjoy the game fella.

Hope he does well, he's from Crosby where my familys from, Vic and his brother Kenny went to school with my cousin.

On his day, good player.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far?
Quality, really enjoying the ride. Was wary of Martinez as boss at first and keep waiting for the wheels to come off, but just taking it as it comes...

2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far?
Oh dear. What happened? All that promise last year, sudden nose dive this. Some poor signings by Clarke (Anichebe, come on!) and some uninspired results/displays. Oddly counteracted by some good performances / results against the big teams. Pepe Mel Who knows. I honestly think you may go down though.

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far?
Sexy football, happy days, confidence and positivity. The anti-moyes...

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement?
He wasn't getting results and your board lost patience. Betis did good last season (like you) but bad this (like you) and sacked their boss (like you). Now said boss is with you. I forsee a similar pattern and a sacking in 18 months time...

5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you?
Started like a beast scoring goals, all round performances dropped off but he kept scoring, now seems to have gone quiet. I think he needs a break / support. Which is tricky given our no.9 had a long term injury and we appear to be selling Jelavic. Oh, we also sold a 'striker' to some club in the Midlands. Yep, we are short up top...

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening?
Up front, see above. Centre mid is a bit light with Gibson on the long term injured list and Barkley out short term with a broken toe

7) What side is RM likely to choose?
Whoever is fit. So Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Baines, Oviedo, McCarthy, Barry, Mirallas, Osman, Lukaku

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated?
West Brom (sorry), Fulham, West Ham

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Sexy football, never say die attitude, defensive reslience

10) Score predictions
2-1 Albion, solely because I've said you'll go down. Tis the Everton way....

I think this nails it. Poor old Vic, nice chap, but I don't think he's ever going to ever be anything but a poor man's Heskey. Yep, you read it. Harsh...

...but fair (I think).

Hi, folks.

I'm back again for the second edition. If you could fill out the questionnaire beneath it would be appreciated. The finished article link shall be provided later on in the week.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far? We're finally playing more like how I thought we were capable of, just sooner than I thought it would happen. They can play better though, I know it.

2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far? Slightly below where I thought you'd be but the last half of the table is extremely tight so I wouldn't freak out too much, yet.

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far? He's been the perfect storm...believes in a way of playing that I think the players were just as eager to embrace as we'd stagnated under Moyes, IMO.

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement? Knee-jerk from your board there, IMO. League money has a large part to play in that decision, it would seem.

5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you? Almost exactly how I thought he would, glimpses of everything. I think off-season's are going to be a big thing for him to progress further from now until he's 25/26. If he can put his heart and soul in to the summers between this WC and the next, he could be a footballing Godzilla.

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening? There's always something to strengthen...resources, availability and timing are another matter.

7) What side is RM likely to choose? The Blue side.

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated? 3 points separate the bottom 6 clubs and they've all been playing at about the same level...impossible to tell.

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses? Back four and goalkeeper have been playing together quite a while now. Playing with the confidence of Martinez and the doggedness of Moyes.

10) Score predictions 2 nil to the School of Science

Hope those that are travelling have a safe journey to the West Midlands and I look forward to hearing the amazing "Allez Allez Oh" chant. :D

I'd rather WB stay up than about 8 other clubs, so good luck for the 2nd half.

Why is everyone so confident of victory. I hate west brom away. 1 1 all over it.

Hi, folks.

I'm back again for the second edition. If you could fill out the questionnaire beneath it would be appreciated. The finished article link shall be provided later on in the week.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far?
Doing well, but not great. With a bit more ruthlessness/efficiency we could easily be in the top 2
2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far? To be honest, I would have to look at the table to see where you are but since you replaced Lukaku with Anichebe, I would assume you are not doing too well

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far? Better than I initially expected, and the style of football is a joy to behold

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement? I liked Steve Clarke, thought he was a good coach. Never heard of your new guy

5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you? Started off awesome scoring lots of goals, but those have dried up recently. Still playing well for the team although he does seem to have the first touch of a rapist

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening? Always. More creativity/decisiveness in the final third and someone to cover/compliment Lukaku

7) What side is RM likely to choose? Doesn't matter

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated? Not us, so don't care

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses? Strength - complete domination of games due to being absolutely boss. Every goal is a contender for goal of the season. Weakness - not getting the goals that our play deserves (see point 6)

10) Score predictions Got to be at least 5 or 6 nil for us

Hope those that are travelling have a safe journey to the West Midlands and I look forward to hearing the amazing "Allez Allez Oh" chant. :D

You will be hearing that chant after each goal, so if you miss it the first few times, don't worry, it will be on again b)

Hi, folks.

I'm back again for the second edition. If you could fill out the questionnaire beneath it would be appreciated. The finished article link shall be provided later on in the week.

1) What are your opinions on Everton's season so far? Brilliant. For one who's always wanted Bobby at the helm I couldn't be more pleased. He's built a fantastic core to the side which has incredible balance and just works. The squad depth without injuries isn't really too bad at all and his signings have been brilliant. Kone will be useful next year. Bobby is never wrong. Roll on the second half of the season.

2) What are your opinions on WBA's season so far? Slightly underachieving. Expectations were far too high at the beginning of the season, however you too have a decent core to the side with Yacob, Mulumbu and Sessegnon and you should be able to see out the season looking at finishing with Swansea directly below Southampton and Newcastle.

3) Roberto Martinez seems to be doing the business. What have you made of his tenure at Goodison so far? See Question 1 I suppose.

4) WBA recently sacked Steve Clarke and appointed Pepe Mel. What are thoughts on Clarke's sacking and eventual replacement? Again, I believe expectations were too high. And you're not going to get relegated so I think he should've been given more time.
5) Romelu Lukaku won many hearts at The Hawthorns. How has he performed for you? It's his presence what has been the key factor for us. He allows other players to flourish whilst defenders are too distracted by the size of his d'8k. He does need a rest though like. And I want Berbatov.

6) The transfer window is open, is there anywhere that strengthening? Striker. And a Central Midfielder. Batshuayi, Berbatov, Ravel Morrison, M'Villa or Fernando are my preferred targets. But El Bob knows best.

7) What side is RM likely to choose? GK: Howard, RB: Coleman, CB: Stones, CB: Jagielka, LB: Baines, RDM: McCarthy, LDM: Barry, RM: Mirallas, CAM: Osman, LM: Pienaar, ST: Lukaku.

8) Who are the three clubs that will be relegated? Palace, Cardiff & Fulham.

9) What are your strengths and weaknesses? Strengths, we can score at anytime with any player and are always dangerous unlike the previous regime. Weaknesses, final balls.

10) Score predictions. WBA 1-3 Everton.

Hope those that are travelling have a safe journey to the West Midlands and I look forward to hearing the amazing "Allez Allez Oh" chant. :D
