Villa protest

I've done every protest with fellow Everton supporters ..I'm going to villa next week I personally will be backing them ticket prices are shocking in general and all supporters should make a stand.its getting tougher and tougher for a normal working man to go the match especially with the family..
The only time clubs seem to care about the normal match going fan is when they know tickets are going to be hard to sell, in a cup game versus a lower league team. Villa are probably shooting themselves in the foot here a little. Maybe keep prices the same as normal PL tickets for this season as it may turn out to be one season in the CL for now, to keep prices within reach of a normal fan.
Was there much of an increase in ticket price from what Villa were charging for European games last season?

Don't know what villa were charging for premier league games have to ask the lad who's asking all Everton supporters going next week for help

Evening Toffees, sorry to hijack your forum but I was looking to gain your support for the game next weekend.

I’m sure you’ve seen the outrage related to our extortionate Champions League ticket prices and the vast majority are really unhappy that the club hasn’t reconsidered the pricing.

Would you join us in protesting against the prices and the total disgregard of the loyal match going fan?

Thanks in advance

How much were your tickets for European games last season?

In this world you have a choice, no one ties your arm behind your back & says you must buy these tickets !!

Football supporting and being a supporter is like a religious undertaking

I think you're letting your personal views on Aston Villa cause you to not see the underlying issue

If you make attending football matches so expensive you price out ordinary fans, you "gentrify" the games you then lose atmosphere and the traditional support in football within Britain

It's a very short term mindset that Corporate Aston Villa have adopted and it's going to harm that club massively in the long run @disgruntledvilla

I would not be attending if this were Everton (and I am an Everton season ticket holder)

Maybe their owners thought they were all loaded when they were chanting “sign on” at scousers last season.

Jokes aside, it’s awful pricing and a joke, but as everything, it’s about supply and demand for a business, and they will still sell them all.

They were singing it in May against the kopites. No need to sing about poverty when the kopites are such an easy target anyway.

Seems they have sung it in the past

However, as an Evertonian I'm going to be the bigger man and say it's not really relevant to the topic of over priced match tickets

Or use it as a precondition to my views or support over the issue

It's a separate issue. Also Birmingham has as much deprivation as Liverpool

Which is kind of the entire point

My initial comment to you was in jest. As I agree the ticketing is atrocious. i wouldn’t jump to support their protest though. Same way they didn’t jump (as no one did) to support us against the corruption of the PL.
