No trouble yesterday at the game for me, russians were too depressed to do anything, there was a patch of about 30 or 40 empty seats bunched together in their end. Possibly those that got deported? Even though i heard they'd been let back into France. But glad wales pipped their fans down royally and they will now go home.

nah, only went out on saturday. couldn't find my brother, he gave me the wrong address so i ended up sleeping on the bloody streets the first night. Just got back to cardiff now. was planning on going out on the 12th rather than the 18th but didn't materialise. Getting back for the last 16 is a total no go, transport links are not kind. best get to the quarters.

Paris isn't it? Why is that unkind to your plans?

Some Welsh fans in Lens had done and were planning to do....Swansea-Bordeaux-Swansea-Lens-Swansea-Toulouse. By car. Fair play.

just really expensive and not many flight options.

jesus, that's horrible. I did cardiff > bristol > bordeaux > toulouse > beziers > bristol > cardiff from saturday unti this morning. so worth it for yesterday though.

wales have been a bit unlucky in the up and down nature of their fixtures.

Yeh Putin will be buzzing but the general public will not. They came last in the Euro's behind Wales and Slovakia, are banned from the Olympics, are at war with their neighbours and the country is bankrupt.

On the outside, the image we are given about them being happy will not be the same as they feel.
