Agree every word. Compared to previous he showed some positives and there’s a footballer in there. On the downside, even with his best performance, got caught out a number of times defensively - particularly struggled with movement and looked flat footed. So far off Digne, insane business.

Pretty much this. He was better than previous games but as has been pointed out he’s so hesitant in the final third. He refused to cross the ball on a few occasions. If that’s classed as a good performance it’s no wonder we are staring relegation in the eye.

I’m honestly trying to work out if people are being serious or popcorning me. He got skinned over and over and sometimes looked genuinely hopeless. It’s properly frightening that things have got so bad that a performance like that is somehow seen as a positive.

He was getting rinsed by Aaron Lennon for 75 minutes. In 2022.

Honestly he's not bad. But I really don't see a path for him to ever be anything more. He's an attacking fullback without any of the attributes that could make him a really good one.
