I’m honestly trying to work out if people are being serious or popcorning me. He got skinned over and over and sometimes looked genuinely hopeless. It’s properly frightening that things have got so bad that a performance like that is somehow seen as a positive.
Just looks totally inappropriate for this level.

Not physical enough, not technical enough. Seems to have little to no awareness either.

Pretty much this. He was better than previous games but as has been pointed out he’s so hesitant in the final third. He refused to cross the ball on a few occasions. If that’s classed as a good performance it’s no wonder we are staring relegation in the eye.
Jonjoe makes him look like prime Baines to be fair to him. Just don’t see anything there

Honestly he's not bad. But I really don't see a path for him to ever be anything more. He's an attacking fullback without any of the attributes that could make him a really good one.
Like someone said he’s like a player that would have been vaguely passable 25- 30 years ago when you didn’t need as much as you do now to succeed.

Today I would put him on the same level as Rondon or maybe worse

Behave lad you have blood on your hands chasing a Champions League winning manager out the door because he once managed Liverpool.

Chickens coming home to roost for you eggs hows Lampard doing???

….ffs, lad, Lampard is poor, I think he’s making big mistakes but he can’t learn on this job with the sour situation your beloved left the club in. This group had over 20 points more this time last season. 20 points. We were critical but it was a decent place, your beloved turned the place sour.

i was talking to somebody at FF on Monday, he said the place turned septic, it’s still septic because of him. He turned staff against each other, he caused conflict. He left with £6m in his pocket, he called us a Little Club and he’s forever a hero of our neighbours. You and few others continue to defend him, we can never forget your stance.

I’d love to tell you what I truly call you and a few others on here but I wont. Amazing arrogance to continue posting.

And another one who was deluded enough to think sacking Benitez was the answer to our problems.

Benitez's early form is the only reason we are out the bottom 3.
If Digne had not been sold and Benitez been sacked when he was we would have had won many more games due to this clown not being on the pitch, that much is clear.

Tonight’s game is a prime example.

Because he was the only manager since Moyes with the cajones to rip up this jobs for the bhoys set up mate.

The cosy cabal didn't like mean old Benitez coming in and telling a few home truths.

Why are people saying he was terrible? He had a go didn't shy away and made some great tackles

The other side of the pitch, Kenny. He was the problem.
Agree. I thought he looked up for that tonight and played well enough. Might have missed errors but during the game I thought he was stepping up.
