Patterson, Branthwaite, Godfrey and Myko would probably do alright as a four in the championship.. thought he done well defensively against Salah, didnt really give him an inch until the goal and tbf thats near impossible to defend against

Thats the hard part, we havent had one of those since Jags legs gone... Seamus couldnt organise a wake and big chocolate legs Yerri only works 1 in 3 shifts.
Sam Johnstone in behind them and you hope with their age and decent injury record it would be a settled defense to build upon.
In the prem though they would struggle like a Norwich or a Fulham do each season due to the lack of experience.

Look at Guehi at Palace...only 21 but their Captain and now an England player.

Mykolenko is very good, Branthwaite highly promising but he and Godfrey need an organiser alongside them.

Weve been linked to Matvienko at Shakhtar who plays LCB next to Mykolenko for Ukraine. Problem is hes only captained his club for 1 game...whether thats his age (25) compared with 37, 33 and 32 year olds i dont know.

But we really need a leader back there.

He's come on leaps and bounds now last 5 games. Wish he had taken the free kick that Gray took instead. The ball he put in 2nd half that Allison flapped at was an absolute peach, pace, bend and whip.

As good a performance as you'll see against someone like Salah today.

Really starting to look like he believes he belongs. Starting to become a real bright spot in an otherwise dark void of doom!
