Coming here under hugely difficult personal circumstances, joining one of the best leagues in the world and coming from a relatively weak league...he holds his own, and even excels at times. And clearly has the proper fighting attitude and club spirit. Deserves all the praise he is receiving.

I'm gonna blame this on the fact the period of my life properly watching Everton has been the Baines and Digne periods. And this lad is neither of them.
