He may be, he may not be. We don't know yet. Nobody on this forum has been watching Ukrainian football and can give an informed opinion. I'd have no issue signign him if we had a LB starting, well, we did, but we'er about to sack a manager who has forced him out.

I’m really hoping he comes good as he looks like he’s got a good attitude. It’s just not the time to easily shine with the chaos around him.

I’d rather have Digne and his stats in the lineup.

A bit unfair to him, he's supposed to learn from the adapted players in the premier league

Not in the middle of a horror show. The sooner Benitez gone, all the senior like Keane, Coleman will resume normal and help nurture him. Poor kid.
A bit unfair? He got starts against Hull City and Norwich. Many a players would love to get their debuts against such lackluster sides to get eased in.

But he didn’t look like he should be in the squad for either club either game.

oh it absolutely the worst time for ANY new player to come in, but not only to come in, start and have to live up the expectations of a full back that has just left, against his choice, who the fans loved, wanted to stay.

The WHOLE thing is horrendous and that's why nobody should be coming into this thread and blaming the lad for what was an OK game (horror passback aside).

I am not saying he played well, or bad, just that he was not the problem today.

The fat, balding, dinosaur and his Iranian lover are the ones who should be looked at.

Not blaming him. I'm blaming the manager for putting this lad in this situation. It's unfair.

Our manager is cack, got to be one of the worst managers in world football. But expecting a professional footballer to play a game of football isn’t unfair, especially against Hull and Norwich.

The situation is. We can't defend, it's a new team, he's not played for weeks, doesn't know English. He's not been allowed to settle

This lad will be fine eventually. I don't think people realize that he is not some unknown bloke with no pedigree. He is a very highly rated youngster.

However he IS young, is in a new country, has not played for a couple of weeks and has came into a team that is utter dirt. He has hardly been set up to succeed.

He will be fine once he gets through this awkward Benitez period.

….and yet Benitez plays him and doesn’t play Patterson who says he’s fit and desperate to make his first start.

Reality is both should be playing mate, atm the back four look destroyed in confidence so getting two new in at least removes two with zero belief

Iranian lover. Sounds so exotic.
