Baines, Digne even Maldini would have looked poor next to Keane and Coleman today. Get off the lads back, he wasnt great in the first half but improved immeasurably in the second half, with a great first time cross for our goal. Blame Benitez for getting rid of Digne not our new young signing.

Players and managers have fall outs all the time. I can vaguely remember Moyes and Ferguson having a bust up, but it was sorted out and Ferguson was brought back into the team. A new left back wasn’t required as there’s plenty of other positions that need improving. This lad isn’t ready yet for the Premier League but he finds himself the only left back in the squad. This has been shockingly bad man management from Benitez.
