Yeah, because he's not an aggressive defender. He waits. He doesn't go into duels as much as Digne (I'm using him because he was our LB) or Godfrey, who both defend aggressively. I'd say one of Digne's faults was his tendency to dive in too much and get skinned, whereas Mykolenko's problem tonight was basically the opposite; gave the players a bit too much time and then they could get a run at him.How many times he got skinned by players coming inside him (fnar) was disturbing.
It's one game. He's got 120 mins under his belt and will need this half a season to bed in.
