Thought he was poor today, going forward he stalls the play a little, and the one time he crosses it was over hit.

We looked more solid defensively when Kenny came on, a right back who we don't think is good enough playing out of position.

Hopefully he's still settling in and there is more to come, Ukraine to UK is a massive step up.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention that it was him being about 3 yards behind the defensive line keeping Toney onside for the penalty.

He keeps switching off, that could've cost us today.
Could easily be just communication with his lack of English. Other than that he was good.

Also the penalty was questionable

He was good today , btw someone ones mentioned that he is not physically ready for PL, this lad is rock solid , Digne is baby compared to him , I got lucky to seat close to the pitch and I was so impressed , no worries about him, he just need few more games and he will be perfect

Young players from other leagues almost invariably struggle with the transition to the pace and physicality of the Prem. Their instincts are all wrong, and retraining them is a process.

Let's give him (and the fitness coach) some time before rendering judgment.

We were coasting 3-1 up at that point, Myko won his battles first half and made a stand out tackle coming in to the middle when we looked like we could get broken on

Agree, I was only judging him on today, he was poor but I'm not writing him off, I think and hope he'll improve.

He was at fault for the move leading to the penalty, but Pickford shoulders some blame for diving in when Toney mis-controlled.

Think he lacks match sharpness and fitness, which is understandable given the winter break his domestic league was in. I am certain there is a player in there, but it's a heck of an ask to step up to this level and play week in, week out, without any cover.

Also, you have to wonder how easy it is to be focused on your football with everything going on back home.
