There is no pace to his game so he should peak around 28-30. I think he's solid enough defensively just can't really do anything in the attacking end. He's mediocre. unfortunately I just get that feeling that he'd get really good if we gave him away.

I promise you he’s never going to be really good ever, unless he starts playing Sunday league then I’d imagine he’d look really good

We need someone rapid to pair with McNeil. Myko at this point in his career is just another Jonjoe and that is next to useless for us. Godfrey has the pace but we need someone with more skill and confidence to be a threat and open things up for McNeil. Should be a priority to address both wingback positions ASAP
I always defended him , but today he looked like a startled rabbit and was shocking , may do well in the Championship though

People say there are bigger issues than the full back positions but I think it's a huge part of why our attack is so dismal.
The likes of McNeil and Gray (who find it difficult at this level anyway) are always isolated without any decent support, which means defenders can easily crowd them out. Always feels like our wingers/attackers need to beat 2 or 3 men by themselves to get anywhere meaningful. We need to start working towards getting back to the days of Coleman and Baines who were the biggest assets in our team.

30 plus million and whatever wages alex iwobi is on. Criminal. For a player who does virtually nothing. If he was cheap you'd go fair enough. But like you say. Big bucks for a player who does nothing.

it’s not rocket science. The aim is to acquire effective footballers that fit a system the club wants to play.
Thelwell escapes much criticism on here yet i wince at the thought of him managing our transfers going forward.
