He's very poor, but, he's a better option than Godfrey or Holgate. He really is our only option at left back untill the end of the season. Unfortunately the same has to be said for Patterson on the other flank. I don't think he is ready yet, but, if the alternatives are Holgate or Godfrey, then I think Patterson has to start the next 5 games.

I'm convinced he is actually a winger, he is always stood at least 10 yards too far forward to be a defender.

Absolutely dreadful

For a long time I wasn't convinced at all but had hope that he had potential and was willing to give him a chance, he did an absolute number on Salah one game for example which kept my opinion alive - unfortunately this guy has hit his ceiling already and for me this is as good as it gets for him, sounds horrible but said to my little lad during the match, and this will resonate with most, anyone whos ever played open age or even Sunday league, sadly he's that player on your team you just dont give the ball to..

Let's put godfrey back then...unfortunately he is the best left back we have. Yes he is not a world beater but he does his job and he is in top shape physically which helps in this league
