Wonder if having him play behind Niels Nkounkou could be something to look at next season.
If it is not prime Baines it will never be good enough.I must be watching a different player.
That moment when he dashed across to get between Ferguson and the ball was goal saving. He and McNeil were quality down the left...
...McNeil gets the plaudits but he wouldnt have delivered a 10/10 performance if not also for the man behind him.
Niels is good as gone. He is tearing it up on loan at Saint-Etienne who have a buy option. They will surely exercise it if for nothing more than to turn around and sell him for a profit.
He is a wing back rather than a full back, this season he has tended to play high up the pitch at times. Is he worth another look? Or is it the french second division? He wasnt all that at cardiff.
For some reason i think he's worth one more(final) good look at Everton.
Yeah, hopefully somebody buys them both.Wonder if having him play behind Niels Nkounkou could be something to look at next season.

I have to agree with this , Jessie marsch would get past him. We’ve won 1 game and every player is decent again, like clockwork. He’s nowhere near good enough.
Solly March was absolutely waking past him at every attempt.
What and leave McNeil out for those 2, We haven't been relegated yet !!Wonder if having him play behind Niels Nkounkou could be something to look at next season.
I was talking to a friend about him in work. I think he isn't quite good enough for the Premier League on a consistent basis, but too good for the Championship. Maybe he'd do well in France or Holland. He's not even as close to being as bad as some make out.
He's also not anything special.
Grey area?
