I always rolled my eyes at the "Put Godfrey at LB!" shouts. He isn't a good CB, he's awful as a RB and he's awful as a LB.

I think Mykolenko would be good as a backup option. Or, better yet, at a club in like Italy. You don't pay what we do for backups.

Ideally we’d just keep him as a backup since we won’t get more then 4mil or so for him, and he’s just about backup quality. As it is, we’re probably stuck with him as first choice because we’ve no money and poor scouting anyways. Maybe he’ll improve but everything about him just screams average

I would honestly rather play with no left back than play Godfrey there.
At least then players would know that they have to chase any ball into that space … rather than having the false sense of security that Godfrey provides before his opponent goes clean through on goal
