The sort of player Wee Davey would have made a solid player oot of.

Hard to judge him currently when the manager is Lampard and he joined in the midst of the Benitez turmoil / Russian invasion of his homeland.

Don't think he's the answer long term as a modern fullback needs to offer more going forward however I think he'll prove to be a reliable back up LB for many years to come should the squad rebuild be done correctly.

Not really, he’s not good enough.

Compared to Baines and Digne, even Andy Hinchcliffe, he’s miles off. I’d even rather have Unsworth or Michael Ball.

Like many of our starting first eleven, wouldn’t mind if he was our backup left back, he’d be limited but serviceable. He’s not though, he’s starting. We’ve got far too many, at best, alright squad players, starting for us.

Sell him to West Ham then .....

Rewatched the Wolves game, other than the ball he put in for Gordon the number of times he took the easy option and came inside or passed backwards when there was a chance to be positive or try to put a ball in the box was ridiculous- a coward on the ball unfortunately, taking the easy option every time.

About 3 or 4 times there was acres of space in front of and he wasn't in the least bit interested in making a run and stretching the oppo
I wonder how much of this is tactical. For whatever reason, we appear to funnel a lot of our play down the right, whereas in the past it was the opposite.

To be successful, we need to move away from being the predictable team that we are.

We are an old fashioned club built on outdated methods and philosophies.

We dont deserve a place in a modern premier league

Yeah it was that obvious he needed to move into that space I thought it might be his instructions. Was horrific to watch.
