He’s a decent enough defender. Let’s face it though he’s not good enough going forward. If we play the back 5 moving forward he’s not at all suited to LWB.

Not at all. He’s a traditional left back, not a left wing back. Not suited to five at the back.

We concede very very little down the left, he’s a very good left back, he’s just not great going forward. If you watch his YouTube from previous clubs and international he’s not too bad going forward, it’s just with us he’s been very average

He’s fine. We’re a bottom 6 team and he’s a bottom 6 left back, he’s not terrible but he’s just very average. People talk about like he’s a top notch defender but he’s nothing like. He’s solid, but his positioning and sensing of danger aren’t great. He’ll throw his body in front of stuff and make it difficult to get past him in a one on one but there’s a bit more to defending than that.

Look at his body shape receiving passes, he never wants to get on his bike or take the ball on the half turn, he’s always in a worse position after his first touch. I really think he doesn’t like the football, for that reason it’s a no from me. Nothing personal, seems a good lad
