That chance to cross with DCL waiting was diabolical by him - he had the time to do more & find DCL = goal .....
With Calvert-Lewin it has to be an aerial ball. With Maupay it needs to be low.

He's alright. Not a superstar but not everybody needs to be.
We could certainly do with other options for left back though, I don't think Lampard fancies Vinagre judging by his lack of game time.

If he had looked up instead of rushing the centre he would have two or three Everton players waiting for the cross and he might have picked one of them out. I don’t mind him but there is room for improvement by him particularly with his heading, he’s got a head like an old threepenny bit !!

We concede very very little down the left, he’s a very good left back, he’s just not great going forward. If you watch his YouTube from previous clubs and international he’s not too bad going forward, it’s just with us he’s been very average
