No because this is him, he was described as being a more defensive player when he signed and you only need to look at how nervous he gets the closer he comes to the halfway line, he starts to rush things and can't get rid of the ball quick enough.

It doesn't look like that to me, but obviously it could be the case. As others have said, he just often seems to hide and to take the easy option, it's not as basic as him not always taking up attacking positions etc, it's his entire way of playing that just seems to lack any real intent.

I always thought Digne was a bit of a liability defensively for all his good attacking work but this guy is on a whole other level.

He has no clue where he is or what he's supposed to be doing when he's in the box.
