My dislike of Baines was not football related it was his undermining of an Everton manager and his tv appearance as a pundit when he stuck the knife into his own team mates on the night we were playing.

Unforgivable attitude. And dont get me started on his haircuts, the grebo get.

Fair enough, missed him on comms/pundit work, never thought he'd throw his side under the bus.

It was on a Europa League night on Ch5 IIRC. He said he had no idea what the team was trying to achieve....imagine that.

Unreal.

I'll always blame him for the SF of the LC loss against Man City when we were 3-1 up on aggregate and he turned his back on a speculative shot on the edge of the area and it bounced up off him and in.

We had a decent City on the ropes and just needed to get into HT 3-1 up.
 
It's a strange one really Mykolenko, when he came in he was woeful, after a few games the shortcomings of his attacking game were apparent, but, he was starting to look quite solid defensively, now he looks every bit as big a liability defending as he does going forward. Perhaps it's just playing in a side that is constantly under pressure, because of its under achievement.

It's while i feel for any defender in our set up. Doesn't matter if you're having a good game, defending for 90mins and keeping a cleansheet is a rare thing. Wave after wave after wave of pressure. It doesnt work week in week out.
