Turning into a decent player in fairness to him, he's very Jekyll and Hyde though, he'll go out and have a great defensive game one week and then look like he's not even a footballer the next. Really he's probably a very good defending fullback and not much other than that, I can see him maybe transitioning to a CB in a few years even though he's not that tall. Doesn't have the footballing ability to be in the attacking side but has a good defensive instinct.

I think this will have to do. Just absolve him of too much responsibility to attack (he still provides himself as an wife option to pull a defender - he just doesn’t do much with the ball) and let him be a solid defender. It’s not the modern way, but it does allow an extra CM to be a bit more reckless and lets Dwight get in advanced crossing without worrying too much about how he will stop a counter.
Been given the job of keeping excellent wide players quiet recently for us and his country and has been excellent. Kicked Saka all over the place in the first 10 mins of the International match and has been brilliant ever since. Fair play.

He's largely been very good defensively since he arrived. He's got not good enough going forward.

Looked really solid the last couple of games - it’s promising. Still could do more on the ball but if he can keep this up defensively for a good run of games that would be great for now.
Good performance defensively , offers next to nowt going forward though. But 1st job is to defend. Well done lad
