So what's the go with him, without seeing him kick a ball is he a superstar or have we written him off already? Do we have an in and out camp like with the manager?
Absolutely, and yes.

He's got toffees AND blues in his username though. Don't get much more 'ardcore than that.Well @Toff33Blues99, joined 5th January 2020 (a significant date), has already decided he’s absolute crap because he was playing in the Ukrainian league at 22, so make of that whatever you will.

Cenk Tosun, Saloman Rondon, Mason Holgate, Fabian Delph, Tom Davies, Alex Iwobi...and that's just off the top of my head.Who is this crap lump?

I'm sure he'll do the 19 shirt as worn by Barlow, Niasse, Valencia and Hottiger proudSo what's the go with him, without seeing him kick a ball is he a superstar or have we written him off already? Do we have an in and out camp like with the manager?
Correct. Digne has needed replacing for a long time. He's gone the way Baines went, but more so...Baines was great on the overlap and could cross well, but was not a particularly good defender. Digne started wel at Everton, but his skill going forward tended to hide his lack of quality defensively. On top of this he had an injury a little while ago and lost some of the basic courage needed to defend at the top level. Strangely enough, international football, which is on the whole slower with less physical contact, suits him better at this stage.Digne seemed to stop trying about 12 months ago. A very good player before that but seems to of thrown his toys out the pram even before Benitez started

From what I remember, he started off well but suffered a nasty ankle injury that kept him out over the Christmas period, and then was really quite poor imo for the second half of the campaign. So with regards to this season, ofc there's a case to be made that a more defensive system limits the chance creation of a supposedly marauding left-back, but my view was that his poor form extends even further back.
Selling a relatively high-earner at 28 at a profit after several years of service is the model we ultimately need to adopt if we want to become even remotely sustainable over a longer period of time. However, ideally, you want to be negotiating from a position of strength rather than weakness, because valuations can quickly drop from 30-35m to ~20m once either party starts to kick up a fuss about things.
This is where Benitez's primitive emotional development worries me, and although I understand that a statement needs to be made when a player actively questions a superior's leadership early doors, I do hope that we don't start to see a pattern form of the more talented players being alienated by Benitez's 'zero-compromise' approach.
On topic: Zero clue if this fella's any good, but would be very much up for a team composed of Ivan Drago-esque thugs who can still mix it technically with the better teams in the league.
Poor lads cursed before his first training session unfortunatelyI'm sure he'll do the 19 shirt as worn by Barlow, Niasse, Valencia and Hottiger proud
I mean that last incumbent of that number was James so that’s a positiveI'm sure he'll do the 19 shirt as worn by Barlow, Niasse, Valencia and Hottiger proud
