Vu-feckin-vuzela's - possible ban for them

In the world of TV complaints that is a lot. If they get 3 or so they have to investigate. Although I agree, who do they think they are complaining to?

A vuvuzela ban in all World Cup matches on the grounds of 545 complaints to the BBC would be amusing.

The vuvuzelas are just like the B sharps barber shop quartet name in the Simpsons.

Initially amusing, but the more you hear it the worse it gets.

I stand by my claim that my airhorn is far louder and anyone who sits near the church will testify that it is just as annoying, kopites'r'gobshoites nearly made sharpy drop his can at the last home game... along with 1/2 the spellow.

They don't bother me. Bit like a clock ticking. After a few minutes I don't even notice them. So my message to the bbc complainer blerts... You can just fcuk right off

England Fans find novel use for Vuvuzela's

Dull games/dull WC. I dont think it's too much of a stretch to suggest the Vuvuzelas are contributing. Games can take off with atmosphere, and atmosphere is created not by a constant drone. The ebb and flow of chants/singing/goading between two sets of fans creates atmosphere. We've missed the variety of that cultural input in this World Cup - sacrificed because we cant offend the local football culture. The tail is wagging the dog here.

FIFA, the South African FA, the TV companies and the sponsors of the tournament have had a year to get on top of this. They - along with the noise makers - have also contributed to a [Poor language removed] spectacle.

They did a survey about complaints and found that there were 2000 complaints made by the same 20 people.

This was about aircraft noise at Sydney airport and nothing to do with vuvuzellas, but you get my point.
