nice in parts, people same as everywhere else some good some bad, most of the north wales girls are very welcoming to teen scouse lads so that's a plus point.

A lot of the young lads are absolute horrors though. Had a good few hairy moments in some of those small North Welsh places over the years.

In fairness, they seem to hate the lads from the next village, as much as they hate lads from Liverpool.

Lovely to see Page give Gary Speed credit. Just seen a few people on Sky saying that Speed was the one who changed the way the Welsh team was run and that's why Wales are going to the world Cup. Just wish he was here to see it.
A lot of credit has to go to Gary Speed for sure but integral in all of this change too was Osian Roberts… he introduced a whole new training regime from top to bottom and helped change and shape the mentality of the group and the national set up as a whole, he’s now left the set up and us assistant to Viera now at palace so that speaks volumes how respected he is at the very top level of the game.

One way to stop all these players going to international tounarments - lets get relegated couple times, no international players, sorted
No bottom half of the table team like ours should be burdened with international duty for their players.

We've just avoided relegation by a couple of points. We need all hands to the pumps.

What international teams get up to is of no concern of mine.

I played with, and for Osian in amateur football. A good guy who has gone on to achieve a hell of an impressive career in coaching.

I had the pleasure of working alongside him for a few years and coaching with him … such a depth of knowledge about the game. You must be a north walian ??

Osian should have got the manager’s job when Giggs was appointed.

When he left the set up to join Morocco, I was gutted.

The whole Giggs episode was a nonsense that should never have happened.

I assume Viera would have known Osian from taking his coaching badge at the Welsh FA academy.

I agree he should have got the job but I guess he wasn’t the high profile name the welsh fa wanted sadly, but within the game the players know how good he is, you only have to look at the players he’s mentored through their pro license. Hugely respected by players at the very top level. It’s a credit to himself.

The Giggs appointment was a joke. Should never have been anywhere close to the job. Glad that Rob Page has taken things on and done OK. Wish him all the best. Will be interesting after the World Cup to see how the WFA and the squad develops
