Don't know if it's been mentioned cos I can't be bothered reading back but South Liverpool like Aigburth is nice but can be pricey. Depends on your limit I guessThanks all, what part of Liverpool are worth looking at?

All my kids are grown up, looking at 250k budget bit of a minefield being from out of the area, looking for 4 bed propertiesIt’s fine mate.
Good bits, not so good bits.
That area in general seems a bit run down to be honest, and I’d look more towards Walton park ways if that’s possible but there’s plenty there.
Good transport links with three train stations close by and loads of buses that go across the city. Plenty of pubs, bars and places to eat and you’ve got a big sainsburys close by too.
Biggest draw back is the traffic if you drive. It’s notoriously terrible around there during busy hours.
Most of my mates are from around that area and they all liked growing up round there.
If you’ve got kids then there’s plenty of greenery and sports centres as well. Even a little tennis centre close by.
Not really comparing like for like there are you. What about Blundellsands, Formby etc.?Grew up Tuebrook now live in Mossley Hill...for quality of life South Liverpool is far superior.
Thats not Liverpool...also the people round there are very peculiar. Not really comparing like for like there are you. What about Blundellsands, Formby etc.?
Of course it's Liverpool! Has an 'L' postcode doesn't it.Thats not Liverpool...also the people round there are very peculiar.
You'll find the best expression of the City in South Liverpool, the multiculturalism of L8 and the Sefton Park areas..Smithdown,Allerton Woolton,Lark Lane for Food and Drink... Calderstones,Sevvy,Princess Green Bank for the parks
Lark Lane area was the last place of many I lived in,and by far the best.In terms of areas, it depends what you are looking for. I like Aigburth, it has a bit of a village feel, it’s close to the city center, Lark Lane is nice for a night out, Sefton Park is fairly close and so is Otterpool Prom.
Anything after Walton is Sefton which I don't class as Liverpool.Of course it's Liverpool! Has an 'L' postcode doesn't it.
Wools mate. Talk funny once you get past town.Of course it's Liverpool! Has an 'L' postcode doesn't it.
