Best pubs aren’t in the town centre, head down Wellingborough Road and there’s a few down there, normal boozers or one or two hipster real ale gaffs iirc.
About a 10min walk from the centre of town.
ive finished there now pal, had an evening in the penny loafer (?) then last night in o'neils which was crap beer but a few nice ladies in that were easy on the eye. Even o'neills was better than the hotel I was in.

Tbh don’t think I’ve been out in Northampton since pre Covid, a lot of the ½ decent places down that neck of the woods may have died a death, but it was always better than the generic bars in the town centre.
