Want to post something but there isn't a thread that quite fits - thread

@jackyboy
I remember about 5 years back I took mine to a Kwik Fit for MOT and funnily enough was also told that I needed a new headlight. They said that the 'automatic' adjuster wasn't working on one side. I took it elsewhere and it passed first time after they adjusted the beam manually (at no cost)
As I said avoid Kwik Fit like the plague ;)

Halfords arent much better. Took mine in last year for a service and it worked great before gasnt worked properly since. Phoned them and thet said its not covered in the warranty

Ended up going to local garage, quoted £650 tops to fix whilst kwik-fit were quoting 2 grand.
Here's a quick tale from kwikfit.
I got quite 200 for work on brakes.
Picked up 500 .I said I was quoted 200 so they fudged the invoice to 200.
Bad move the life time guarantee was void because all items weren't wrote down.
Anyway after 3 trips and numerous emails phone calls ,I got rid of the car.

Car has just failed it's MOT for a few bits but think Kwik Fit quote might be OTT. If anyone knows anything about cars would be great.
Where about are you?
Kwick Fit are real scammers, notorious for getting people to.pay for work they don't even.
I took a tyre to them once, screw in it, few days later, another slow puncture, totally convinced they put the same tyre back on with a flimsy temp fix.
Also my mum went once with a flat, the lad told her they had to replace all 4 cant just do one, seriously.

There are some frikken MASSIVE spiders running around here at the moment. This terrifying suprise in my laundry with more menace than what our spineless bunch are putting out.
