Didnt people see Arteta v Bolton he played left mid and did sod all,yeah when him and whoever swop for 5/10 mins hes ok but tie him down to the left hes not intrested.
I`m more worried about the injuries,we need a win and win by a couple.
As for players or teams being `unknown` just remember Bucharest and think again:dodgy:

welcome to the forums mate, I agree with you that we need too be careful against the metalists but I believe that our class will show on the day. If you could pick the team who would you pick?
 
Baines is the best fullback we have had for years so why move him I honestly think if you play players in their best positions you will get a better performance

We need VDM to fire. I think Moyesy was on the right track buying him, but hasnt been able to upgrade. Look for him to strengthen there come January, but until then itll be chop and change as the games and injuries dictate

Go with the strongest most consistant we can,I think 3 out of the four midfield can rotate throughout the game.Ive never bought into rotation but leave a team to gel.If its not going our way then change it.Faddy, TG,Osman,Hibbert we have options at last.One thing is for sure tho`, we cant play a quick front to back in Europe we`ll need to learn to keep hold of the ball WHEN we get to the group stages!!!!But imo for this game just go at them from the off, show no nerves and get at them Id like to go over there with at least a 2-0 lead.

We all thoughtVDM would give a bit more in midfield but I cant see him deserving a start tbh but we`re looking in from the outside and he may be pushing hard for a game,but unfortunatley I cant see it:(
 
Yeah, if you look at Moyses team, I think he learns about a different position every transfer window. He's left the left too long (if that makes sense) and our next big bucks should go there.

But then again.

I dont mind the lad from Blackburn hes got something about him, bit of nark as well, always helps imo but would Hughes let him go?
 
I heard they're in the market for a new Left sided player to push MGP upfront...stupid in my opinion but when I read a blackburn rovers forum they where all crowing on about it.

Oh no that was it, if they had Duff they'd put MGP upfront. If they never sold Duff rather.
