"Watch Classic Matches Again"

Could do with an 18 year old like Joe Royle.

Two things about those highlights - the pre match line up on the screen showed Howard Kendall as part of a back four, with John Hurst in midfield.
Also in the pre match “warm up” Bally doing a rabona ( I think that’s how you spell it!), pundits these days would have us believe that it was either Messi or Ronaldo who invented them and were capable of the,!
Apart from that what a flippin’ great 15 minutes to watch, great memories!

Was there for that one. Great day, what a team that was.

I was there that day, I think we left Lime Street at 5-00am.
3-0 that one wasn't it?I was nine and listening for the old telephone updates on radio Merseyside, gutted,I still remember my elation only two or three weeks earlier when we had secured a priceless point at elland road and thinking we were a shoe in for the title, probably the first time as an actual fan they'd let me down,it wouldn't be the last!!

We stank that day, and all knew the title challenge was blown.
