The good thing about Deulofeu and Mirallas is that when they turn up there's usually a good amount of assists there (and goals, in Mirallas' case). There's not been a whole load of signs of this formation working that well yet though.

Imagine setting up a 3-man counterattacking midfield and picking McCarthy over Ross.

Koeman knows a hell of a lot more about football than me but that is sooo incredibly dull and risk-averse.

He wouldn't know what to do if he was played in a 3 and he has never shown he can defend. Let's just see what happens and see what Mccarthy can do. If he's not playing well bring barkley on

Some one can probably pull it up...but I'm talking decades.
