The good thing about Deulofeu and Mirallas is that when they turn up there's usually a good amount of assists there (and goals, in Mirallas' case). There's not been a whole load of signs of this formation working that well yet though.
 
Midfield lacks any kind of forward thinking play, expect massive gap between them and the forwards.

Lose out to most 2nd balls.
 

At least with Geri we might get a few crosses in - they are vulnerable.. but you know.. miss, miss, miss, dubious Taylor decision blah blah blah. We'll see. At least he's brought in Macca which is not so bad, hopefully.

Of course we might be saying #WATEVE.. afterwards - zzzzz

He wouldn't know what to do if he was played in a 3 and he has never shown he can defend. Let's just see what happens and see what Mccarthy can do. If he's not playing well bring barkley on
