I can't keep up, they were 'heroes' in the Leicester and Chelsea matches.

This was a back down to earth game, yes we should have beat them but they have absolutely nothing to play for no pressure, it’s not as easy as some think. Frank though could have tried to change it a bit with some more subs.

Watford players were putting themselves in the shop window and had no pressure to win the game.

PL away games are not easy for a team as poor as ours. Probably why we’ve only won two all season and drawn one other.

That’s no surprise by now, though, is it? I don’t absolve the players, far from it. They’re the main reason we’re in this mess in the first place. The manager took them into this fixture with more belief and momentum than they’ve probably had all season, though; fans were great again, too. The team had all it needed from external sources to put in a repeat of the last two performances in terms of endeavour if nothing else.

What we got STUNK of them being told to “just not lose”. Now we have two home games that everyone thinks we’ll magically turn it back on for. What happens if we draw/lose the first one? Do we revert to “just don’t lose” against Palace? What happens, then, if we’re in a last day scrap to stay up, in our hardest fixture left?

I’m not that much of an idiot that I’ll be calling for Lampard’s head after one result, however hideous, but if he does anything other than take full responsibility for tonight he gets a black mark from me.

A black mark for not losing a game having also recently beaten Chelsea, man united and Leicester away from home. Jeez, every manager has bad days.

I think we can all guess the line up for the next 2 home games...defensive and hoping that we create one opportunity for goal whilst at the same time hoping that pickford is up to the job again...not looking forward for those games...what a miss opportunity.

We need a win against Palace or Brentford and we'll be safe. I can't see Leeds winning any of their games

Leeds beating Brighton on Sunday wouldn't be a shock at all. That piles the pressure right back on us and anything can happen in 90 minutes. I'd make us slight favourites against Brentford and that's it.

Well, the big picture is bad. The big picture says we could have effectively made ourselves pretty safe tonight but instead we're right still in it.

The positive outlook is that should have been a point at leicester and a win tonight.

The realistic view is we are in trouble becuase we can't win games regularly. No point winning, to put in MOSHIRI terms, an "expected loss" if you then go and bottle an "expected win"

How frustrating.
