While i do think we may need to rest players for the 2 home games we should not make too many changes. No guarantee's we will win our home games.

I think Allan for delph will happen. If DCL/Rondon plays then Richarlson plays wide and probably Gordon to miss out.
Or maybe Gray misses out. Or maybe play DCL....Rondon and Richarlson. Just pump long balls up to them. They would cause Watford lots of problems imo... Especially if DCL decided to turn up. No worries from me that the other two would turn up. Rondon if nothing else is a trier...
I know that my thinking will be shot down. But as much as I like Gray and Gordon. They need to start weighing in with a few goals. And they could be an asset from the bench.
No rule to say we always need width. Just go straight down the middle.
Scare Watford shitless. Pretty football can wait to next season. Just win this match. Up The Toffees....
Ps.......of course that won't be the starting front line. But it would be interesting just to see how those three would perform. With decent back up from Iwobi and Doucoure........ Ramble now over....

Lampard needs to make sure that the players are well up for this. I'm not joking when I reckon a few of them will probably think the job is practically done now.
you would think that after a few decent wins the past week , that these players are well up for taking on Watford. Have they not seen how the fan base has been acting recently? Wonderful support cannot now be rewarded by this bunch of player's slipping back to their old habits. They have to be now chomping at the bit to get at Watford. Unforgivable if they let all this momentum slip...
I'm just glad that we play on wednesday. Get back to business. Don't give this bunch of player's any time to think about anything. Just get them drilled and back playing on wednesday.. Any sort of a long break, and our bunch always seen to be lethargic.
So let's rock and roll. Beat Watford and then Btentford. Up The Toffees.
Ps........I also didn't trust them that much. Was always hopeful. But didn't really trust them. But after the last two wins........i......we.....have to trust them. Nothing else for it.

be good if we won 5 on the trot. Whats the chance of that though? Surely the Everton juggernaut must be halted soon

Games like this give me the fear. On form and on quality we should be winning this but with Everton I'm always more confident that we'll put in a performance against the better teams than against the likes of these.
I agreee - this one worries me. We clearly have a formula for doing well with low possession and fast breaks. Watford will not offer us this.
Richy and Doucoure both returning to old haunts, Z-cars blaring before KO. Watford facing a record home losing streak, Josh King....
I am worried we cannot field the same line up due to injuries. this is no time to be 'resting' people. Will the travelling fans be able to keep up the level of support?
Lose this and its all ugly again.

Pickford
Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Myko (Kenny)
Iwobi, Allan, Doucoure
Gordon, DCL, Richarlison

May lady luck be on our side, the odds forever in our favour, and please let us get an early goal or two!

I despise Watford and everything about them.

Another pivotal game, as good as the last 2 wins have been those were vital just to get 1 point outside the relegation zone. A win at Watford would guaratee we finish Wednesday night 4 clear of Burnley or Leeds in the last relegation spot, depending on Leeds score at home to Chelsea.

Literally can not let up yet, still 4 cup finals.........

What a run we have been on BTW, now the stats are all in our favour. FYI Southampton played 2 more games than us and their last 2 games are Liverpool (H) and Leicester (A). They could very much be in this if they lose both of them.....

Presumably the Watford players have enough pride to want to justify their large salaries on Wednesday but with that crowd behind us I can see three points. I admit I feared the worst before Leicester but it was like a new dawn.
