He'll always be a knobhead but i hope he does alright there. Worked out well for Lampard, do doubt he'll be thinking the same that he'll get a crack at the man its job at some point

We were all young once mate and did things we regret, but he comes across in the media more level headed these days. Hope he does well, if he does could be at Everton in a few years.

Was he the most complete 16-18 year old in football history ? I genuinely can't think of anyone who was better at that age.

People go on about him fading but he was playing 30+ games a season in the most physical league in the world from the age of 16 onwards...
That game for united against fenerbache (was it fenerbache?) when he hit that hat-trick on his debut was just unbelievable. I genuinely thought he would go on to be the all time best ever player.

I’ll never forget that Rio Ferdinand wind up when he was about to give a dogs home £50,000 to keep it open and to stop the kid (actor) from crying.
He’s got a heart of gold, I’ve always liked him and always will.
I hope he does well in his new career and continues to goose loads of old women, who need loving too.
Has an account on here apparently

He probably won't get the respect he deserves for his playing career.

Won so much, all you can in the domestic club game really, and yet there'll always be that feeling of 'what if?'

Dunno why, maybe because when he was 16-18, and I stand by this, he was one of the most complete footballers in the world.

Food for thought, this article is interesting but also really pisses me off for some reason (mentioning Everton just once and crowbarring Istan**l in there maybe?)

At least we got his "defining moment", haha. Stuff yer poxy PL titles and EC.
