Ive just tried to find where he is quoted as saying that if he isnt an automatic starter next season he's going.

I cant see it anywhere.

Can you send a link where he says that, please.

It’s widely reported that he “wants assurances” about his playing time next year, whoever the manager is.

Can you find me anything where he states he’s threatening to move to get Allardyce sacked?

I have. and about 5 others I know. and @matty1878

Well 6 is a start but forgive me for being flippant but 6 of you are not going to make much of a statement to the club.

Not as big as, say, one of our star players saying he cant work with BFS.

Like what Rooney is doing or not, it send a massive message to our board.

But he has already said he enjoys working under him. So obviously he has saw his arse over something, the most likely reason would be because he is not going to be a guaranteed starter going forward (and nor should he be).

The board don't need to be given a message, they are not stupid (even though they act it at times.)

Anyone who thinks Wayne has anything to offer us is deluded. He was gone and past it years ago. United wouldn’t just let him go on a free if he had even an ounce of quality left. And let’s face it surely if we want top four we have to aim at United?

This is fantastic news to see him go. Said it time and time again. Until we sign young quality and potential instead of past it has beens who top six clubs no longer want we will never make the top six

Near enough every player a top six side doesn’t want anymore there is a reason for it! Listen for once Everton

As if they need to be sent a “message” to do something they’re going to do anyway.

This has nothing to do with Allardyce. It’s about Rooney and his pride, he thinks we owe him a guaranteed place in the team no matter what. If for arguments sake, Silva comes in and tells him he’s going to be a squad player and his first team starts will be limited, he’s still leaving.

Asking for more playing time and asking to start every game isn't the same thing.

Rooney will not make a decision over whether to stay at Goodison Park until manager Sam Allardyce's future is resolved. (Star)

Rooney, 32, will snub the move to the United States if manager Sam Allardyce leaves the Toffees. (Mirror)

There are no quotes there mert. You asked me specifically for quotes from Rooney.

Obviously its all conjecture and stuff but it looks like he is actually using Allardyce and the feelings against him to benefit himself which is a pretty snide thing to do.

But he has previous when it comes to being a snide so...

Like I said, I hope the new manager has a set of balls and stands up to him. If he isn’t in his plans, that’s that. We can’t allow a player to bully us into giving him special treatment, even if he’ll have the backing of Kenwright.

Maybe being a bit snide is why he's wealthy beyond his wildest dreams and had a mega successful football career ?

It is possible to want Rooney and Allardyce gone and want to renew one's season ticket regardless. You don't have to be #TeamWayne or #TeamSam

I never said i was on one side or the other and yes people will renew regardless of the circumstances, and IMO , rightly so.

No individual is bigger than the club; player or manager.

I was pointing out that Rooney is moving on because the club cannot give him assurances about the managers position for next season

He is reported as saying that if BFS is here next year he will move on.

The same as some of our supporters telling the club if BFS is here next season, they will not renew season tickets.

Wayne is obviously unhappy with BFS style of management, the same as we are, but, unlike us, he is in a much stronger position to make his point than we will ever be.

If he leaves at least it might make the board sit up and listen.
