Lukaku's main strike partners since he's joined us have included Arouna Kone, Enner Valencia, Steven Naismith and Oumar Niasse. The baldy turncoat would be a major upgrade on those, even if he's 31, and that would surely make Lukaku both happier and have more success.

Also Rooney can take free kicks, corners and pens well, something that I think we have struggled with over the past season and a half.
