Transfer Rumour Wayne Rooney

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney says he has "more or less" decided his future at the club.

The 31-year-old has played a bit-part role for United this season, coming on as a last-minute substitute in the Europa League final triumph over Ajax.

"There's lots of offers on the table, both in England and abroad," he said.

But United's all-time leading scorer with 253 goals said he would only move to former club Everton if he stayed in the Premier League.

Not so much because he didn't deliver in one game, but because this one game was where the standard of the opposition was of a level that he will meet every week if he comes to the Premiership.

He may well be a success and a great player in the future , but last night showed how clearly the level of risk in paying huge money for such a player.

No mate United are not the standard of opposition he'd meet every week in this league. Especially a United in Mourinho cup mode which is an incredibly difficult side to look good against.

But about 34 games per season he'd face sides nowhere near as defensively organised or drilled.

Unless you think Swansea, Brighton, Newcastle, us or arsenal and city etc could have done what United did to ajax

I think a lot of teams did exactly that against Utd this season...was it fifteen draws they had ?
