I like the optimism. They have all summer together so you would hope they would have some chemistry by the first match.

I just think/hope each player will be fighting for their place and given the quality of the squad and the training that'll of passed as you rightly point out we'll fly into this season; also Rooney is all but written off, the lads new to the prem Klassen and Sandro will be played down for that reason and lord only knows what the template RK is going to set down for them to play from. I just think we can surprise individually going forward but I honestly think the back line will be fine no matter what enough quality there 1-6 (old school position numbers)
