I've dreaded him coming back and have ignored the Rooney thread for months... but now it's inevitable I'm having second thoughts and think he may get a new lease of life away from a United. He looks in good shape too. And I have to put my faith in Koeman. No matter how much this deal reeks of Kenwright, I don't think Koeman would go along with signing a player on his wage for sentimental reasons alone. He may not be the player he was and I wish he had come back to us a few years ago, but whatever.. he's here and I really can't wait to see him score his first goal at Goodison.
