I know a lot on here don't like Rooney but Siguardson replaced him today and he was terrible. So who can replace him at the moment while Vlasic is injured? We have so many issues on this team at the moment my head hurts.

Rooney did alright. He wasn’t the problem today.

I think he was central to the problem because of the amount of times he gave the ball away and how he played his own game again - meaning there was no fluidity in the final third - quick example - him being miles away from DCL.

Rooney has been finished for 2 years now.

Don’t think that’s fair, he’s our highest paid player and he’s been absolutely terrible apart from a few flashes.

You can’t not criticise him because other players have had stick in the past.

Simply put, if Rooney was doing more to justify his squad status and wages we wouldn’t be doing as badly

The point was more that he's the one that gets the brunt of the anger. Like Rom and Ross did, like Osman did and so and so on.

The problem is the team as a whole, not just one.

Sorry Siggy looks bad if not terrible a passenger at best. He has shown very little for us.

I felt there was better more balance in our attack today, the same on Wednesday.

The midfield and defence are huge areas of concern.
